The
pride and the jewel not only of the town, but also of
the whole countryside is the national cultural monument
- the neogothic mannor - house with a historical park.
The mannor - house is the dominant feature of the town
and its tower is the part of the town blazon. With its
architectonical shape it belongs to the most valuable
buildings of the region. Together with the historical
park it is a favourite destination of visitors. It used
to be the property of the family of Eszterhazy. Now
it is registered at the central list of cultural sights
of the Slovak republic under the number 18/1, as a cultural
monument at a parcel 1852, 1853 with the number 1006/18
announced by the Ministry of culture dated 23rd April
1963 and it undergoes the law of the parliament of Slovak
republic 27/1987 about the state conservation - the
version of the law 248/99 and 455/2002.
