The largest green area in the city is situated by the mannor - house - the historical park which consists of many trees and bushes of great historic, microclimatic, biologic and architectonic value. In the park there is memorial with the bust of a famous musician Zoltán Kodály, who lived in Galanta for some time and composed his famous Galanta´s dances.

The realty "PARK" is registered at the central list of cultural sights of the Slovak republic under the number 18/2, as a cultural monument at a parcel 1851 announced by the Ministry of culture dated 23rd April 1963 and it undergoes the law of the parliament of Slovak republic 27/1987 about the state conservation - the version of the law 248/99 and 455/2002.

The area of the Park is 2,2 ha.
